S**T Street Cat Rescue Program Inc. has been saving and bettering feline lives since 1996 and became a registered charity on January 25, 1997. The S**T Team rescues and cares for stray, abandoned, feral, sick, injured and neo-natal cats, provides medical care, socialization throu

gh foster home care and attempts to find permanent homes for the cats. S**T provides cat care information and spay/neuter education to improve the human/pet experience and to reduce the problem of pet overpopulation. We believe that kindness and compassion towards animals creates a better community for us all. Our volunteers and staff are dedicated and passionate
about providing the best care possible for our cats. To that end we will not euthanize any animal unless there is nothing more that we can do medically and under the guidance of a veterinarian. We thank all the animal care professionals for helping us maintain the high standards of care for the cat's welfare.

We want to send out our gratitude to Family Pet Cremation services for their many years of supporting S**t and our fosters through the most difficult part of rescue.

Today as we drop off another precious soul in the safety of their caring hands, we are reminded about just how important this part of the journey is to us all.

S**T waitlist features! We are looking for foster placements for the cats in this post.
Foster cats have all medical costs paid by the rescue and we can provide food and litter. We have S**T volunteers who can help fosters troubleshoot any healthcare, behaviour, quarantine, integration issues, etc. that they may have. Waitlist cats are not yet in our care - they have been advertised for an owner and are being cared for by a member of the public while we look for a foster home to open up.

We are nearly out of wet kitten food, so this is our most-wanted item this week!
If you'd like to help out our foster kitties, you can bring donations of wet kitten food to the S**T office Monday to Friday, anytime between 11:00am-5:30pm.
Please note we are closed on Monday for Labour Day
