Senior Sunday 🤍🐾

This sweet boy, Cinder, is a little clumsy, very chatty, and absolutely loves being around his people! He soaks up every pet and loves getting all the attention he can… although he’s still learning that he can’t have all the pets at once.

Cinder is very laid-back and loves simply observing what you’re up to. He’s adventurous while still being respectful, and he’s perfectly content just hanging out with his people. He hasn’t quite figured out what to do with cat toys yet, but give him some company and he’s happy!

He’s also a good scratcher who knows to use his scratch pads only, and he’s learning just how wonderful bedtime cuddles can be. He’s adjusting to a routine with meals at certain times of day, so he can be a little impatient when he thinks it’s time to eat but if food is part of the situation, Cinder is ready for it!
Cinder is currently diagnosed with diabetes and takes his medication like a champ. He’s currently in a foster home with no other pets, but he seems like the kind of gentleman who can roll with anything and take new experiences in stride.

With his goofy personality, gentle nature, adventurous spirit, and love for affection, Cinder is sure to bring plenty of companionship and a little bit of comic relief to his forever home

Halo is a young, recently retired mama who was trapped out at Pike Lake along with her 4 kittens. Her kittens have all been adopted and she is enjoying retirement from being a mama.

Mama (Xylazine) was found heavily pregnant alongside two kittens from a previous litter. We were able to trap the crew and get Xylazine in for a spay ASAP. She recovered very well and is now learning how to be a cat without all the motherhood responsibilities. She loves to snuggle and receive pets (and catit tubes). Every day she comes out of her shell a bit more and is turning into the sweetest little girl.

Her kittens, Xolido (female) and Xylocaine (male) are still very timid and attached to their mama. They are learning that humans aren’t all that scary and can supply catit tubes. Just recently they both laid on the bed with a human and didn’t run away! They still have a lot of progress to make, but together they are making each other brave ❤️

Meet Soup 🐈‍⬛🐾

Despite his rough start, Soup has transformed into a brand new gentleman. With his diabetes under control the next step in Soup’s journey is a cozy home with his forever family.

Soup loves to chat, get his cheeks/chin scratched, and snack all day long. Behind Soup’s timid exterior is a love bug with excellent manners and a goofy personality!

A calm environment (especially at first!) and a consistent routine would be ideal for soup. As he is diabetic, Soup will require constant monitoring for signs of a diabetic issues. At this time he is not getting insulin but when needed he takes it like a champ.
