SCAT Street Cat Rescue "As a Matter of Cats" Calendar

The "As a Matter of Cats" Calendar is a fundraiser for SCAT Street Cat Rescue.

SCAT has been producing a calendar since 2012 and, with the help of
local graphic design artists, printing company, and professional photographers donating their valuable time and talent, this fundraiser has been hugely successful. The cats and kittens shown in the calendar are all rescues from the SCAT Street Cat Rescue Program. They are available for adoption - or at least were available at the

time the photos were being taken. So if you are interested in adoption, please contact the office at [email protected] or call 306-955-7228. You can buy a calendar a various locations in Saskatoon during the calendar sales period of November to January.

It's tongue-out Tuesday! 😛 We're up to our eyeballs in photo shoots for the 2026 calendar, and this little meowdel was serving big blep in between takes.

Life's a beach! 🏖️☀️ July meowdels Yuniko (white cheek) and Yausie (white forehead) were found around the same time and on the same farm as our May kittens – their moms may have been co-nursing, which is a common among mama cats who live together and give birth around the same time. While they are super adorable, don't let the fluff fool you. These guys definitely enjoyed playing Godzilla with the sand castle and destruction reigned on this day!

👋 Meet June meowdel Zhoward! The streets were not kind to him in his first two years of life, and he came to S**T with many serious injuries and later developed seizures. Now he lives the sweet life indoors and takes medication to keep his seizures under control. It is a core value of S**T that animals like Zhoward are provided with medical treatment – we don’t give up on these guys!

As thanks, Zhowie let us dress him up in this adorable shirt and pose him all over the place because he knows that being really, really, ridiculously good-looking means that he can help us raise money to help other cats like him! 🌈

Meet your May meowdels! Chipper, Chunk and Curly were found on a farm outside of Saskatoon. Here they are, about four weeks old, getting back to nature, where it all started: exploring the new, green grass and smelling all of the spring smells. Despite looking like they just rolled out of bed, this trio was happy to get right back into bed after the shoot! 😸💤

Abigail (dark grey) and Ashe (light grey) were 10 days old when they were found near the Nipawin area and brought into S**T's neonatal orphan program. They were raised in a cozy incubator by their human foster mom. As they grew and gained freedom, they learned to become apex predators. Here they are demonstrating their skills with Charbunder the Wonder-Bun. Clearly, they are terrifying. 🐰

It’s March! Four-leaf clovers might be lucky, but what about... extra toes? Polydactyl cats have extra digits, caused by a harmless genetic trait. Historically, these cats were popular on ships as sailors believed they brought good luck. S**T Street Cat Rescue alum and March meowdel Poly, 14, has never been on a boat, but keeps all his purr-sonality and sass in his extra toes. 🍀🐾

This unique calendar features men with Saskatchewan connections, from a variety of professions and jobs, who want to help raise funds for care of sick, orphaned, and feral cats. The first calendar came out in January 2012 and has included celebrities such as Brett Wilson, Kim Coates, Greg Johnson and The Sheepdogs. Local graphic design artists, printing company, and professional photographers donate their valuable time and talent to making this fundraiser hugely successful.
