SCAT Street Cat Rescue "As a Matter of Cats" Calendar The "As a Matter of Cats" Calendar is a fundraiser for SCAT Street Cat Rescue.

SCAT has been producing a calendar since 2012 and, with the help of
local graphic design artists, printing company, and professional photographers donating their valuable time and talent, this fundraiser has been hugely successful. The cats and kittens shown in the calendar are all rescues from the SCAT Street Cat Rescue Program. They are available for adoption - or at least were available at the

time the photos were being taken. So if you are interested in adoption, please contact the office at [email protected] or call 306-955-7228. You can buy a calendar a various locations in Saskatoon during the calendar sales period of November to January.

Meet our August meowdel, Valiant Tomothy Purrington. He was a little gentleman with the appetite of a dragon, the grace of a dad dancing on TikTok and a royal backstory no one could quite verify. VTP travelled all the way from the east coast to take reign of his domain after a friend of S**T reached out for help, since he required some special care with his diabetes. He remained in S**T’s care until he crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this year. He is remembered for being the coolest cat there ever was. 🌈

Big thanks to Trevor and Nancy Jacek in Saskatoon for letting us use their vehicle and space to capture these amazing photos.

“Go camping!” they said. “It will be fun!” they said. “Live in the wild like your ancestors did!” they said. These guys have been there and done that. 🏕️ Meowdels Radar, Rainbow, Rhombus, Root Beer and Rubix Cube have come to enjoy the creature comforts of indoor life after being found outside when they were only a few weeks old. They would much rather be in a climate-controlled environment with their favourite blankets, get regular meals, have a few catnip toys on the go and appreciate the beauty of nature from the dry side of a window.

Can you believe it's June?! 🗓️ Meowdel Remix was found with seven kittens in one of Saskatoon’s core neighbourhoods. Five of the kittens were hers while two others, who were a few weeks older, had seemed to be adopted by her. Now that all seven kittens have been adopted, Remix is spayed and enjoying a carefree, well-deserved life of naps in sunbeams and endless cuddles. Here’s to happy tails and fresh starts for this queen mama! ☀️

May meowdels Blossom, Bubblegum and Buttercup were found under a deck when they were about 10 days old. With no sign of mom, the babies came into S**T’s neonatal program and were bottle fed and weaned onto solid food. Now that they’re old enough to have jobs, the trio has created their own coffee shop, serving up coffee, tea and a variety of tasty treats… but working is hard and, every now and then, they just can’t resist curling up in a giant mug for well-deserved naps. 😴
