SCAT Street Cat Rescue "As a Matter of Cats" Calendar

The "As a Matter of Cats" Calendar is a fundraiser for SCAT Street Cat Rescue.

SCAT has been producing a calendar since 2012 and, with the help of
local graphic design artists, printing company, and professional photographers donating their valuable time and talent, this fundraiser has been hugely successful. The cats and kittens shown in the calendar are all rescues from the SCAT Street Cat Rescue Program. They are available for adoption - or at least were available at the

time the photos were being taken. So if you are interested in adoption, please contact the office at [email protected] or call 306-955-7228. You can buy a calendar a various locations in Saskatoon during the calendar sales period of November to January.

December meowdels Icarus (orange) and Isadora (tabby) were six weeks old when they arrived at S**T with siblings Irelynn and Irving. 🎅 At about eight weeks old, they were VERY excited to meet Santa Paws, but were a bit confused by his hands. They told him what they wanted for Christmas, and Santa delivered—all of these babies went to furever homes, a true Christmas meowricle! 🙌💫✨

👋 Meet November meowdel Nayru! She loves everyone she meets and will greet you with her constant purrs! She loves to play with everyone, yet can happily keep herself entertained. She is happy and playful and can be a bit mischievous, but she demonstrates here that she can also be very demure and very mindful, that the way she goes to the interview is the way she goes to the job. 💅

October meowdel Jupiter had a dramatic start to life! 🪐 At eight weeks old, a good samaritan spotted him in the middle of University Bridge traffic in Saskatoon. As you can see, he is a gorgeous boy with beautiful blue eyes. He is energetic and loves playing fetch with springs and chasing his cat sisters. He is very cuddly and often yells to be picked up while his mom is cooking supper.

For this photoshoot, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to try the ghost trend and we were not disappointed – he was the perfect cat for this! 👻

Time for another calendar sneak peek! 👀 We appear to have stumbled across a secret kitty clubhouse, where canines are outlawed. (Though it's quite nice of them to have a special door for mouse visitors!)

Kittens!!!! 😻 Now that we have your attention, here's another sneak peek!

These five little rascals had a blast at one of our calendar photoshoots over the summer. Their lovely mama is part of the calendar, too – what month do you think they'll be part of?

Time for another sneak peek! This is Precious, and she definitely lives up to her namesake. 🐈🥰 A S**T Street Cat Rescue alumnus, she purrs like a diesel engine and has the floofiest pantaloons around.

It's back to school for meowdels Ivie (thin white blaze), Inkie (all black), Iggie (white and black - big white blaze) and Inigo (black and white paws)! ✏️📚 These babies came in with their mom as newborns from a shop in Clavet that was experiencing some issues with overpopulation. We were able to get all the kittens in and all of the moms spayed through our TNR program!

Now enrolled at the S**T Street Cat Rescue School for Wayward Kittens, this group will learn basic grooming skills, litter box etiquette, and the finest treat and catnip pairings. 🧑‍🏫
