A FAMILY REUNITED 🙏🏻

Last week, we were out delivering straw and food to a community when we received a request to take in a mom and pups just as we were about to leave.

With the weather deep into the minus twenties, we weren’t about to say no when we saw the picture 🥶😓

We had a foster step up in the area and brought the most defeated looking mom and her babies into care.

TWO DAYS LATER, we received a message from the frontliners that RCMP had brought another puppy in that hadn’t found with the rest of the litter. For TWO days, he survived outside by himself and was very happily reunited with his family.

The next day, Mom was rushed to the vet, unable to hold anything in, panting heavily and just seeming off. She got meds to go home with and a b12 injection. She’s back with her fam now and her foster is working on taking that defeated look out of her eyes ❤️

We truly don’t think this mom would have made it through the weekend and we’re so happy we didn’t have to find out.

Happy Saturday from our "Ice" Litter! ❄️

These frosty cuties are officially 8 weeks old and ready to skate their way into their forever families!

While we don’t know their exact breed, we suspect there may be a little polar bear mixed in (purely scientific speculation, obviously 😉).
