Beautifully written and thank you for sharing this ❀, I agree, many people do feel alone and struggle with the timing for planning a goodbye for their beloved pet - it's so hard to say goodbye but also the kindest way to honour them by providing a gentle and loving passing when they are suffering, have poor quality of life, untreatable pain or nature will cause an unkind or distressful passing. Evaluating quality of life surveys really help to assess your pet's home life and help with clues to understanding how they're feeling when they don't have words and only actions and symptoms to communicate with us.

The decision to euthanize a pet should be one that you always look back upon and know that the best decision was made and that you would make the same decision again in the same situation. So how do you know if it is time?

We love and miss you Kipper ❀🐾, see you again one day sweet little kitty. Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, a beautiful and vivid written description of a paradise for our pets after they leave this world.

Edna Clyne-Rekhy is the original author and wrote it in 1959 in honour of her dog Major but the mystery of who wrote it wasn't solved until 2023.

This version and how they discovered the author from: https://wearethecure.org/what-the-rainbow-bridge-poem-gets-perfectly-right-about-pet-loss/

A lovely way to remember our precious pets that have passed and help support pets that are waiting for their new families. ❀🐾

🌳🌿The Central Alberta Humane Society offers a beautiful and heartfelt way to honor the cherished memories of pets that have passed with their memorial tree initiative. This beautiful tribute allows pet owners to commemorate their beloved companions in a serene and lasting manner. By dedicating a leaf on the memorial tree, individuals can have their pet's name and the dates of birth and passing inscribed on a leaf, creating a permanent reminder of the joy and love their pet brought into their lives. This initiative not only provides solace to grieving pet owners but also contributes to the Humane Society's mission of supporting animal welfare. The memorial tree stands as a testament to the enduring bond between humans and their pets, fostering a sense of community among those who have experienced the profound loss of a furry friend.🐹🐯For more info: https://cahumane.com/pet-memorial-leaves/
