Our Doggy Daycation program has been an incredible success, and we couldn't be happier seeing our shelter dogs getting the chance to enjoy a well deserved day of adventure 🐾❤️!

Check out these adorable photos of Hershey having the best time on his special day out! From exploring new places to soaking up all the love and attention, every Daycation gives our dogs a chance to relax, build confidence, and experience life outside the shelter while they wait for their forever homes!

🐾 Help Our Big Dogs Get Out for Walks! 🐾

We're looking for donations of Large and XL dog harnesses for some of our wonderful large breed dogs currently waiting for their forever homes 🐶.

A properly fitting harness helps keep our dogs safe and comfortable while they enjoy much needed walks with our amazing volunteers 👣. These daily adventures provide exercise, enrichment, and valuable socialization that help reduce stress and keep their tails wagging while they wait for their families 🐕!

If you have any gently used or new Large or XL harnesses you'd be willing to donate, we'd be incredibly grateful 🫶. Every harness helps give one of our shelter dogs the opportunity to get outside, explore, and enjoy the love and attention they deserve 🥰!

Oh my gosh, hi there! Buddy's the name they call me here. 🐾🤎

I might come across as a bit unsure at first, but once I know I can trust you, my true personality really starts to shine. I am a genuinely sweet and loyal guy who just needs a little time and patience to feel safe and settled.

Once we are friends, you will see just how affectionate and loving I can be. I enjoy spending time with my people, whether that means hanging out nearby, going for walks, or just sharing some quiet moments together.

I get along well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion to help me feel more comfortable. That said, I am looking for a home without cats, as they are not really my thing. I do well with most people, but I can be a bit jumpy when I get excited or nervous, so a home without very young children would be the best fit for me.

What I need most is a calm, understanding home where I can continue to grow in confidence at my own pace. If you are someone who is willing to give me that chance, I promise to repay you with loyalty, love, and a whole lot of heart!

Heya, friends! I’m Mackerel, yes, just like the fish! Isn’t that a fun name?
I was brought in as a stray, and even though my amazing shelter family tried really hard to find my humans, no luck, they think I’m destined to meet my perfect forever person right here! I’m a pretty chill and easy going lady, the kind of cat who enjoys a cozy corner, a warm lap, and gentle pets. I love a calm, peaceful environment where I can just hang out and soak up affection without feeling overwhelmed. Speaking of which…I do need a home without other animals. As much as I like making new friends, other pets tend to be a little too much for me, and I do best when I’m the center of attention.

I’m the perfect companion for someone who wants a mellow, loving buddy to hang out with, nap with, and share quiet moments. Imagine lazy Sunday mornings, soft purrs, and a warm little friend who always wants to be near you, yep, that’s me! Could you be the lucky human to give me the calm, loving forever home I’m dreaming of? I promise I’ll make it worth your while with endless affection, gentle purrs, and plenty of personality!
