Colder weather is coming! 🥶 Here are some winter tips to keep your pet safe:

❄️ Pets can get frostbite too. Check the temperature before letting them outside.
❄️ Sidewalks may have salt on them. Use boots or a balm to protect your dog’s feet.
❄️ Antifreeze is toxic to pets, but it tastes sweet. Keep it out of their reach.
❄️ Trim the fur between paw pads to avoid snow and ice building up.
❄️ Use caution around fireplaces and portable heaters.

Summit and Ginny are both students in Tricks Club. Summit has been joining us for a while. Ginny has started more recently. On Monday, Summit earned both his Expert and Novice Masters titles, followed by Ginny earning her Novice title. 🎖️

🐾 Behaviour: mobility, sleep patterns, cognition, and routine changes

🐾 Appearance: muscle wastage, dull or matted coat, thin skin

🐾 Daily Function: loss of senses (hearing, vision, smell), reduced immunity, hormonal imbalances, reduced organ function
