Just a friendly reminder that our clinic will be closed on Monday, August 3rd for the Civic Holiday. We will resume our regular hours on Tuesday, August 4th.

To make sure your furry friends have all their essentials for the holiday, please give us a call or send us an email to arrange for food and/or medication pick-up before the closure.

A long-standing member of the Barrie community, Dr. McWatt is known for his calm, compassionate approach to veterinary medicine. Whether he’s in a complex surgery or a routine wellness exam, his goal is always providing top-tier care with a neighbourly touch. 🩺❤️

Happy Canada Day to our incredible community of pet parents and their fur-babies! ❤️

We hope your day is filled with backyard sunshine, treats, and plenty of belly rubs. While we love celebrating with red, white, and beautiful fireworks, our furry friends don’t always share the enthusiasm.

Before the evening festivities begin, here are a few quick tips to keep your pets safe and calm tonight:

🏡 Keep them indoors: Ensure pets are secure inside before the fireworks start.

🔊 Create a calm zone: Turn on the TV, radio, or white noise to drown out loud booms.

🆔 Check ID tags: Make sure microchips and collar tags are up to date, just in case.

🚫 Skip the BBQ scraps: Keep onions, grapes, bones, and alcoholic drinks far out of paw's reach!
