💖 Meet KitKat 🐱

KitKat has had a very sad start to life. She was found on the side of the road by one of our lovely clients, and we believe she had been hit by a car. She came to us with a fractured pelvis and was in a lot of pain, but this little girl has shown incredible strength and resilience.

Thanks to surgery, lots of care, and plenty of love, KitKat has recovered beautifully and is now ready for her forever home 🐾✨

She’s gentle, sweet, and so deserving of a safe place to land after everything she’s been through. Watching her heal has been truly special, and now all that’s missing is a family to call her own.

Tick season is here, and with warmer weather across Sydney’s North Shore, paralysis ticks are out in force. These tiny pests can cause serious illness in both dogs and cats, and early action can save lives.

Know the signs of tick paralysis: wobbliness, weakness, vomiting, breathing changes, or a change in your pet’s bark or meow.

A huge thank you to our amazing Normanhurst and Cherrybrook Vet community! 🐾
Your generosity truly blew us away — we had so many donations for the Animal Welfare League at Kemps Creek that it took two carloads to deliver everything, and they even needed a trolley to unload it all!

The team at AWL were incredibly grateful and said the items will be put to good use (and will likely go very quickly!).

Thank you again for your kindness and support — it really makes a difference.

✨ Michael – This handsome boy is a desexed male DSH kitten with a gentle heart and playful spirit. He’s always up for a cuddle or a game and would make a wonderful companion.

✨ Conor McGregor & Ronda Rousey – These ginger siblings are the ultimate cuddle buddies! Conor is a desexed male and Ronda a desexed female, both DSH kittens who love snuggling up together and showering you with affection. While they can be adopted separately, we’d love to see them stay together if possible!

Help Us Make a Difference for Our Furry Friends!

Hi Normanhurst Vet Community.
My name is Lucy, and for my birthday this year, I have asked my parents if they would help me reach out to the community to collect supplies for cats and dogs in the Animal Welfare League shelter at Kemps Creek.

We are collecting all donations by Saturday 31st May to take them on Sunday 1st June.

The furry residents are in need of:
- dog and cat food (wet and dry, any type)

-old towels and blankets (to keep them warm and cozy).

If you have any extra food or used towels/blankets that you can spare, we would be so grateful for your donation.

Your contributions provide comfort, full tummies, and a better chance of finding their fur-ever homes.

Drop-offs can be made at Normanhurst Vet by close of business on Saturday 31st May.
