We are so happy to hear that Billy is feeling more comfortable after his laser therapy with Dr Martine 💚

For senior dogs living with arthritis, even the little things can make such a big difference. Walking more comfortably, getting back up onto the lounge, using their steps again, or simply moving with more confidence.

Laser therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment option that can be really worthwhile for older dogs with arthritis or mobility issues, especially as part of a broader comfort and pain management plan.

Tofu has been adopted! 💚

We couldn’t be happier for him and his beautiful new family.

A few weeks ago, he was brought into us as a stray with no microchip. When no one came forward to claim him, we were lucky enough to help find him a lovely new home.

He’s now settling in with his new family and we’re so happy to see him get the fresh start he deserves. 🐾

What an amazing morning at the Lindfield Fun Run 2026! 💚

The Village Vet was proud to be a silver sponsor of this year’s event, and we had such a great time being part of it. Five of our team members took on the run, while the rest of us enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people from the local community at our stall and handing out little pet show bags.

It was also lovely seeing so many familiar faces and Village Vet clients there, as well as meeting other local sponsors and connecting with local businesses like and .journeys

All funds raised from the Lindfield Fun Run go towards local beneficiaries, with 50% supporting KYDS Youth Counselling, 25% supporting Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter and 25% supporting Mentoring Men, through the Rotary Club of Ku-ring-gai.

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club, the event organisers, volunteers, runners, supporters and everyone who donated to our fundraiser. We’re not sure of the final amount raised yet, but we’re confident it will make a real difference.

We’re finalists!

Thanks to the incredible support of our clients and local community, The Village Vet has made it through as a finalist in the Local Business Awards.

This part of the awards is only possible because people took the time to vote for us, so we just wanted to say a huge thank you. Every vote, kind word, review and recommendation means so much to our team.

The final result is now in the hands of the judges, but no matter what happens, we’re already incredibly proud to represent our local community and the pets and families we care for every day.

A huge thank you to Sarah for this beautiful review. It means so much to hear that Dela and Dora’s visits with us have felt calm, welcoming and positive.

Dr Josie and the team have loved caring for these two gorgeous girls, and we’re so grateful to be part of their puppy journey.

The Lindfield Fun Run is this Sunday, and we are proud to be back again this year as a Silver Sponsor 🐾

It is always such a wonderful local event, bringing the community together while raising money for some incredibly important charities.

This year, we are helping support:
KYDS Youth Counselling
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter
Mentoring Men

These organisations do incredible work supporting people in our community through some of the most difficult times in their lives.

You may see the The Village Vet team around at a few events throughout the season handing out goodie bags, meeting all the lovely participants, and getting to know their families (and pets!).

As part of our partnership with KLAC, we’re offering all Little Athletics members 50% off their first consultation at The Village Vet.
