🐾 Dog Anxiety Awareness Week 🐾
Anxiety in dogs is something we see all the time — and we also see how much it affects the people who love them. 💛
If your dog becomes anxious, it’s not just their stress… it often becomes yours too. From being anxious being left at home, during storms, changes in environments, car trips and vet visits; that constant worry, trying to help, wondering what to do — we see you, hear you and truly understand.
🐶 Signs your dog may be feeling anxious:
• Pacing or restlessness
• Barking or whining
• Destructive behaviour
• Shaking or panting
• Hiding or trying to escape
• Toileting inside unexpectedly
💭 How this can feel for you:
• Stressed trying to calm them
• Guilty leaving them alone
• Frustrated when nothing seems to work
• Sad seeing them distressed
• Tired from the ongoing worry
You’re not overreacting — and you’re not alone in feeling this way. Caring for an anxious dog can be really hard.
💡 The good news: With the right support and guidance, things can improve for both of you. We’re here to help — no judgement, just understanding and care for you and your dog. If you have questions, please reach out 🐕💙
