🐣Pet Safety Tips for Easter 🐣
With Easter right around the corner, it's important to remember what can cause potential harm to our furry family members 🐶
- Chocolate is highly toxic to pets, and if ingestion occurs requires immediate action.
- Easter grass / decorations may have ingredients that are toxic to pets. They may also become a serious issue if ingested as they can cause intestinal blockages.
- Many flowers, especially lilies, are highly toxic to pets and require immediate action if ingested.
- Easter foods may have harmful ingredients, and become dangerous if ingested. Particularly Hot Cross Buns, as these contain Raisins which are highly toxic.
- Easter eggs, especially during hunting activities, may be forgotten and therefore peak the interest of your pets. Ensure all eggs (chocolate, plastic and real!) are collected.

Early socialisation is very important. Your puppy should be given every opportunity to meet as many different people and animals as possible. They should also be exposed to a number of different experiences to allow them to become a more comfortable and confident puppy as they grow.

Berwick Clyde Vet is looking for a 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭 (15 years +) to join our team after school on Mondays, Thursdays and every second Friday from 3:30pm - 6:30pm, and every Saturday 9am - 2pm. This role is perfect for someone passionate about animal care and eager to learn in a real clinic environment.

✅ Assist nurses with patient care

🤔 Do you know how to read your pet's body language? 🤔
