Meet Casper 🐾
13 years young. Jack Russell. Certified tough guy.

Casper came in after a very rude dog attack and decided that retirement was absolutely not on the cards just yet.

Instead, he chose the deluxe recovery package: ✂️ shaved sides, ✨ designer stitches, 🩹 drains, and a whole lot of vet-nurse attention.

There were moments where his wounds looked… dramatic (understate

From surgery ➡️ bandage changes ➡️ wound healing ➡️ granulation glow-up — this little legend powered through every step like a pro.

Fast forward to today and:
✔️ wounds healed beautifully
✔️ stitches out
✔️ back to supervising his humans
✔️ still running the household at 13

Proof that size doesn’t equal strength — and that Jack Russells are basically indestructible 💪🐶

🚨 EXTREME WEATHER WARNING 🚨
Protect your pets during the heat 🌡️🐶🐱
With extreme temperatures forecast, pets are at serious risk of heat stress and heatstroke.
🐾 Bring outdoor pets inside — especially rabbits, guinea pigs, and flat-faced breeds
🐾 Walk dogs early morning or late evening only — skip walks on very hot days
🐾 Test pavements: 5 seconds is all it takes — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws
🐾 Run air-conditioning or fans and use cooling mats where possible
🐾 Provide multiple bowls of fresh, cool water at all times
⚠️ Heatstroke is a medical emergency.
If your pet is panting excessively, lethargic, vomiting, collapsing, or seems unwell — seek veterinary care immediately.

As President of the Narre Warren Junior Football Club, I am proud to acknowledge Casey Pet Emergency as a valued sponsor of our club. On a personal level, my family and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care provided to our dog, Coco, during what was an incredibly distressing time for us.

Following complications from a routine procedure performed elsewhere, Coco required urgent, life-saving treatment. The professionalism, compassion and expertise shown by Vanessa and her team were outstanding, and their actions ultimately saved Coco’s life.
