You won’t BELIEVE what Daisy decided to accessorise with…💍✨

This tiny Cavalier swallowed an earring whole! Thankfully, little Daisy was incredibly brave, and with careful monitoring (plus a little patience 😅), the earring passed naturally.

We’re very happy to report she’s feeling fabulous and back to her normal cheeky self 💕

Moral of the story: if it sparkles, Daisy might try to eat it 🐶

On ANZAC Day, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of all who have served our country.
We also honour the animals who stood beside them- offering loyalty, companionship, and service in times of hardship.
Their bond is a powerful reminder of trust, bravery, and unconditional support.

Lest we forget 🐾❤️

Swipe to see 'KitKat' before & after we removed a blockage in his intestines 👉

KitKat presented to Hallam Park Animal Hospital after three days without a bowel movement, resulting in a significant faecal blockage.
He was carefully treated with e***as twice daily during his three-day stay, which gradually relieved the build-up and restored normal bowel function.

An e***a is a veterinary procedure where fluid is gently introduced into the lower intestine to soften impacted stools and help them pass more comfortably 🐾

Here are some tips to help reduce the risk of constipation in pets:
💧Ensure consistent access to fresh water
🦴 Provide a balanced, species-appropriate diet
💩 Monitor toileting habits for any changes
🏥 Seek veterinary advice promptly if concerns arise

At Hallam Park Animal Hospital, we’re fully equipped to manage constipation in both cats and dogs.
If you notice your pet straining, passing hard stools, or going longer than usual without a bowel movement, it’s best to have them assessed early. Our experienced team and on-site facilities allow us to diagnose and treat these cases promptly and comfortably 💙
