Pittwater Animal Hospital

Pittwater Animal Hospital Caring for pets and their families for the last 60 years! Pittwater's kind and caring staff of vets

Pittwater Animal Hospital is one of the most progressive veterinary practices in the country, yet we haven't forgotten traditional values. Just as we have been doing for more than 60 years, we try to learn as much as possible about our patients, their owners and the lives they share. This extra effort often helps us make more informed decisions about the most appropriate treatment in your specific case.

Meet Daisy! 🐾

Daisy first joined Pittwater Animal Hospital in 2024 helping with kennel and cattery care, walking and feeding patients, but it didn't take long for her dedication, initiative, and strong work ethic to shine. She quickly earned the opportunity to begin training as a veterinary nurse.

A quiet achiever, Daisy is an incredibly valued member of our team. Having grown up with Pittwater Animal Hospital as her family's trusted vet, it's especially meaningful that she's now part of the team providing the same compassionate care to our patients and their families.

We're so proud to have Daisy as part of the PAH family. 💙

Your Dog’s Teeth Need Love Too!

We brush our teeth every day to keep them clean, but most pets don’t get that luxury. Plaque and tartar can build up over time, leading to bad breath, painful gums and serious dental disease. 😬

🛑 The result? Inflammation, infection and pain your pet can’t tell you about.

✅ The good news is that we can help!

This August and September 2026, we’re offering $150 off professional dental treatment under anaesthesia for new dental patients. We’ll assess, clean and treat your pet’s teeth, leaving them with a healthier, happier smile — and much better breath.

Already part of the Pittwater Dental Program after having a dental procedure with us? Your pet can receive an even bigger dental discount when their next procedure is booked during any other month of the year.

📩 For any enquiries regarding cost or to receive an estimate, please email reception at [email protected]
📞 To book a dental for your best friend, call us on 9913 7979.

Standard charges apply if additional veterinary services are required during treatment.

Avian Flu Update

We are very saddened by the suspected avian flu case reported near Newcastle and the potential impact this may have on our wild bird populations, especially seabirds.

Following AVA recommendations, we ask clients to be extremely cautious around sick or dead wild birds. Please do not touch, handle, or move wild birds unless absolutely necessary. Keep children, pets, domestic birds, and backyard poultry well away from wild birds and coastal bird areas.

If you find a sick or dead wild bird, please record the location, take a photo if safe to do so, and call the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888.

We do not encourage bringing wild birds to the clinic. If a bird has already been contained or there is an urgent welfare concern, please call reception first. Any wild bird must remain outside the clinic, and our team will advise you what to do next.

For clients with pet birds or backyard poultry, our reception team will explain our current appointment process and precautions when you call.
