We are a modern, purpose built, equipped hospital where your pet’s records are kept on the most up to date veterinary computer database available to market. We provide all standard veterinary services such as vaccinations, de-sexing, dental surgery, routine health check-ups, together with a wide rage of premium food. We have a digital in-house x-ray facilities and a pathology laboratory allowing u

s to give us to give you your pet’s results immediately. We have a fantastic open and free roaming enclosed cattery where your favorite kitty can sun bake in a hammock, rest in the sun on the ledges and enjoy a full buffet of premium biscuits. We operate for consultations during the following hours
Monday to Friday: 9am -12pm & 3pm – 7pm
Saturdays & Sundays: 9am -12pm & 3pm -6pm
Public Holidays: 9am – 10am Emergencies Only

🐾 Share a Story Competition Entry to celebrate 35 years🐾

This is Rosie’s beautiful story, shared by Grace. ❤️

"We started seeing Marcus at SAH Kellyville when Rosie was 18 months old (she was a rescue). Even though she hated going to the vets, she was always happy to see Marcus and the team, and she always received a pat from them.

Through the years, Rosie had to visit SAH numerous times, and as she got older, her arthritis caused her lots of pain. Marcus explained every treatment and what to expect. Rosie was a fighter, but when she could no longer cope, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye.

Marcus and the amazing nurses showed so much compassion and care, making such a sad time a little easier, and I’ll never forget their kindness. Rosie passed in 2023.

Now we have Archie, who just loves going to the vet too."

⏱️ Gastric Dilation (GD) Emergency
Meet Harvey 🐾 — he came in late last night with gastric dilation (GD), a serious condition where the stomach fills with gas and expands.

Dr Jenny acted fast, took X-rays, and successfully passed a tube to relieve the pressure. Thanks to quick treatment, Harvey is now on the road to recovery ❤️

GD and GDV (gastric dilation-volvulus) can be life-threatening and require immediate emergency care.

Watch for these warning signs:
⚠️ Restlessness or pacing
⚠️ Swollen or tight belly
⚠️ Unproductive retching or vomiting
⚠️ Rapid breathing or drooling

If you ever notice these signs in your dog, don’t wait — head straight to your vet. Acting fast can save lives 🙏

🌧️ This little one was brought into our Avalon hospital by a caring member of the public after being found soaked from the rain. We gave them a full check-up and X-rays — thankfully, no injuries were found 💛

They’re now off to WIRES for some much-needed TLC, and with a bit of care, we’re hopeful they’ll be released back into the wild soon 🐦✨
