This page has been created to highlight whippets in need throughout Australia. It is for whippets in need of rescue or currently in rescue looking for a new home. We want this to be a safe environment with NO politics or negativity where people can come and learn about whippets and see what rescue whippets are available around Australia. We welcome rescue groups to contact us to share whippets to

our page. This is not a page for the general public to advertise litters for sale, it is for rescue only. All dogs that appear on this page must be desexed and at this stage, no crossed whippets, any that dont meet these requirements will be removed. If you have a whippet in need, we encourage you to contact us so we can put you in touch with the relevant people in your state. Whippets in need Australia is run by a small group of whippet experienced people who are volunteering their time, please be patient, we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Whippets in Need Australia has been very busy of late and currently has four fosters at different stages of support in Victoria.
We will be posting soon who is available. These whippets will not be going interstate, they will be Victoria only. 💕

BUT I am only temp care, I need a new foster or IDEALLY a Foster view to adopt home. So once ive seen the vet you will make me part of your family forever.

Are you the my pawesome new family? My names Arnott 👋 I am very sweet, only 3 months old boy and so excited to learn all the fun things in this world with you. Id love an older doggy brother or sister or could go on my own with humans who are home more often than not. I'm only small im a whippet cross x my mum is also waiting in kennels for a family. That's for another day though.

People who are committed to my ongoing training and socialisation is a big one too.
