Immmmm baaacccckkk and I’ve been annoying mummy bree and nanna Tiss! Mummy bree thinks I’m a bit of a dick at the moment cos I’m being very silly and she said that if I keep it up that big fat man in red won’t come leave me anything!!!!

Jakob here. I have a very important message for all my fellow cats out there. Tell your human slaves to tune into second mummy Robyn tonight on her radio show Animal Crackers.

She will be chatting to Maxine from FIP Cats Australia about FIP. Some of the fellow dudes Robyn and her team have rescued have had to fight FIP and have won, so I think your owners need to know all about it.. specially if you get sick and the vet doesnt know whats wrong with you , or thinks you wont get better.

Today I saw my friends Dr Dave and all the girls at Melbourne Veterinary Specialist Centre for a check up
Dr Dave said there is a direct correlation with me having seasonal allergies that result in me having flare ups cos I only get this bad at the same time of year. The last time I was like this was at the sane time last year.
But I also have a staph infection. That means mummy Bree has to also give me antibiotics.
Mummy has to take me back in 3 weeks for another check up with Dr Dave. I may have to have my steroids upped for a little bit to help settle my skin.
Mummy said I was a bit of a show pony cos I was smoochin everyone and showin off my jumping skills.
Gma even came along for a car ride!!!!!

That mumma bree of mine took me to an adoption day at some place called Bunnings up in Ballarat today. I just did not wanna be there. But the bbq smell smelt so so good!!!! She even put me in a purple harness!!!! And I just had to hide under the bed with my friend Dylan! I don’t want go there again unless I gets some of the bbq!!

A little message from our boy Jakob.

I has been home since last Friday and everything has gone so well. BUT…… I has started to p*e blood again tonight. Mum bree has shoved Va**um in my gob to help me chill out even more. Mum and aunty Robyn and my favourite Dr Rob are really concerned. Dr Rob thinks it could be cystitis or something like that. I get to go see my Dr Rob tomorrow to find out. Mum or aunty Robyn willl you all posted!

Help Save Our Superstar Kitty, Jakob
Our beloved Jakob, our resident superstar kitty, is facing a tough battle. Recently, Jakob had to be rushed to the Ivanhoe East Vet Clinic after he couldn't urinate and stopped eating. Dr. Rob discovered Jakob had a severe urinary crystals blockage, causing his bladder to swell to the size of a grapefruit. To save his life, a catheter was inserted to drain his bladder.
After a few days, the catheter was removed, but unfortunately, Jakob still struggles to urinate properly. Today, he underwent X-rays to check for any additional issues, but nothing conclusive was found. Jakob remains in the hospital and may need to stay for several more days.
Despite his challenges, Jakob's spirit remains unbroken. He’s still his cheeky self, finding ways to remove his cone and taste test his IV line. But behind his playful antics, we're deeply worried about his future.
Jakob's health journey doesn't end here. Alongside these urgent urinary issues, Jakob is also battling skin cancer, a lifelong fight that requires continuous treatment. The cost of his hospital stay and ongoing care is mounting, and we need your help to cover his vet bills.
