Amanda from Cheltenham had noticed a small snake pop out of the seatbelt hole of her Mercedes convertible, she rang 3AW and I was called by fellow snake catcher Tim Nanninga and another friend which heard it on the radio after searching with a camera I noticed a braided wire which ended up being a snake skin , this little green tree snake had traveled from up North and had been hitching a ride for the last 2 weeks , after a good hr and a few tricks I noticed a small tail pop out , swiftly grabbing it before it took off again .
This is one of the trickiest jobs you can get especially with a snake this small , green tree snakes are not venomous but still would give you a bit of a fright if you were driving along and it popped out

1 hr later emptying a garden shed I found this little Red Bellied black hiding behind some insulation on the wall in Lakes entrance , I was called 2 weeks ago about this guy hanging around the holiday park
Very happy as the lady is vision impaired and was sitting just behind the door when they noticed it

This big old copperhead snake did not want to come out from under this concrete slab , tried all the tricks including smoking him for 45 min and still no luck ,, 2 days later I done a welfare check on him and he was right in a position I could hook and tail him 💪🏻, only had one chance and succeeded , property owner was extremely happy as we just organised an excavator to come out Monday to pull the concrete up 👌

A week of good weather and here’s some pics of snakes I’ve caught in Melbourne South eastern suburbs including a diamond python out of a yard in Pakenham ( lost pet )
Mainly copperheads this week and 1 tiger I never got a pic ov , 3 out of a yard in Junction village , several inside houses or garages and a few taken off before I arrived , working together with other snake catchers to to give you and your furry friends a safer summer 🐍
