Daisy is an 8-year-old French Bulldog who was diagnosed with severe back problems last year. For a while, she managed with medication… until her back legs could no longer keep up. 💔

Today is World Thyroid awareness day

The thyroid is an important endocrine gland that makes and releases certain hormones. The thyroid's main job is to control metabolism — how the body uses energy. Sometimes, the thyroid doesn’t work properly. These conditions are common and treatable.
By bringing your pet into the clinic, we can run a simple blood test which can indicate to us how your dog or cats Thyroid Gland is functioning.
It's quite common for cats to have an overactive Thyroid Gland resulting in symptoms like weight loss, hunger, coat changes and vomiting.
Dogs with Thyroid Gland problems can start to become lethargic, gain weight, have a dull coat or be less active.

It's our job to keep your dogs and cats in the best of health so come on in and we'll give them a full health check to be sure they're happy and healthy.
