Daylight savings beckons and the warmer weather heralds the best time of year for our outdoor group training classes.
Do you need help training your puppy or older dog to live in harmony with you? Perhaps you’d like to start a dog sport but need to improve your engagement with your dog so that it can work off-lead with you around distractions (including other dogs)? Either way, our Behaviour Training classes have much to offer.
Online bookings for our Term 4 Puppy and Adult Foundation (Level 1) Behaviour Training small group classes will open around 10.00am this Wednesday 24 September. Before booking, we strongly recommend that you read our ‘Frequently asked questions’ to ensure that the classes meet your needs, expectations and availability, seehttps://actcdc.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/FAQs-for-website-October-2024.pdf . Foundation classes are held on Wednesday mornings at 10.00am, Thursday evenings at 6.30pm and Sunday mornings at 9.30am (you choose the day, but don’t hesitate, classes can book out quickly).
This Wednesday morning the ‘Enrolments closed’ button on our website (www.actcdc.org.au) will change to ‘Enrolments open’ and you will be able to click on the button to start the booking process. You may need to refresh your browser to clear any cached viewing history.
Puppy Foundation places are for puppies between 4-6 months old (at the start of term) and Adult Foundation places are for dogs 6 months and older. Your membership will cover you for twelve months (four terms of training). You will need to have your dog’s vaccination details with you and will be asked to complete a Jotform profile about you and your dog as part of the online enrolment process (this form can be completed after you have created an account, booked a class place and paid your membership).
Term 4 Behaviour Training classes for new and returning members start from Wednesday 15 October and end on Thursday 11 December (9 weeks). Eligibility requirements and information on how to enrol in the Club’s other sporting activities can be found on the relevant Activity page on the website (scroll to the end of each page).
We look forward to helping you and your dog.
