Bookings are open!!!!

September 13 and 14 Mantrailing Workshops.

We are excited to announce that we have extended these workshops over two days, covering an introduction on the Saturday and progression on the Sunday. You do not need to come to both days but you do need to have completed an introduction workshop to be able to attend the progression day.

Sessions will be 3 hours and there are options for a morning or afternoon session on either day.

We are also welcoming auditors if you would like to come and see what all the fuss is about before you bring your dog along.

What a wonderful day 🤩

Congratulations to all of the awesome teams that came out in the cold today for our first go at hosting an ORT.

Many passes and quite a few titles were gained. Each and every one of you went home with the best dog of day and you should all be so very proud 🐾

So maybe not quite the image I had in mind when I asked Chat GPT for this one but now that I look at it, training of any kind is about building the strength of a behaviour we want through opportunity for many repetitions (just like I want for my biceps!), and decreasing the strength of a behaviour we don't want, through less opportunity for repetitions.

In the interest of more repetitions, I will be at Sutton Hall tonight for our final ORT practice (Anise) before Sunday.

See you between 6pm and 8pm. No need to book - just rock up with your $10 and be amazing!

Volunteering is a great way to learn about what's involved with trials before you get there as a competitor. Whether you have a few hours or all day to spare, we'd love your help.

Lunch and snacks are provided. Fun is guaranteed.

I'll be at Sutton Hall, West Street, Sutton tonight between 6pm and 8pm for some ORT practice. Tonight we are using BIRCH.

No need to book, just turn up! Please bring $10 with you to help cover the cost of the boxes and hall hire.

Our website has been updated!!

As well as loving to hear what you think of the new look, there are some great new offerings available and we hope you will find something that piques your interest.

🟠 Group classes are scheduled to the end of the calendar year, with dates available in August and October - where there are low booking numbers, classes may be combined or rescheduled. These will be our only group classes now until early 2026.

🟢 Casual classes in conjunction with the wonderful John Sam are now scheduled for July and we will continue to add further dates as they are confirmed.

🔵 Our Christmas in July Sniff & Go on 27 July is open for booking and we are taking emails of those interested in attending our Mantrailing workshop with the amazing Serenity Scent Work on 13 September - details on our Workshops and Events page.

We are sure we'll continue come up with more fun and adventures over the coming months. Stay tuned 😉

Our Christmas in July Sniff & Go event on 27 July is now open for registration!

We will run this the same way we did our Easter Sniff & Go, starting at 10am and allocating groups by the hour. There will also be a paired birch option for those just starting out with odour.

REGISTRATIONS CLOSING SOON!

There are only a few more days left to enter the ORT on 13 July. If you've been on the fence, don't wait!!

Emails have gone out to those who are registered but not paid. Payment is required by 1 July to secure your entry please.

Emails will go out to all entries with information on how the day will run, including location and times for each odour, a few days after closing.

When you register, you will get a little pop up that says ‘your dog has been added to the registration list, best of luck in the draw’. Please ignore this - we are not running a ballot. If you get this message, you are entered, pending payment.

The trial portal can be a bit tricky to navigate for the first time. I have put a series of screenshots in the comments to assist with making payment.

A reminder that I'll be at Sutton Hall tomorrow evening with Clove ORT practice set up between 6pm and 8pm.

With our official ORT trial fast approaching, the following opportunities will be available to train in a simulated trial environment, before the official day.

Sessions will be held at Sutton Hall, West Street, Sutton, between 6pm and 8pm on the below dates.
