Sometimes, we are the clients.

Recently, one of our own, Dr Amanda-Lee, found herself on the other side of the consult table when her 5-year-old Devon Rex had a sudden medical scare. She required extensive care which included blood tests, cultures, radiographs, a CT scan, IV fluids, and even a feeding tube. While we’re still working towards a definitive diagnosis, we’re so relieved to share that she is on the mend.

In moments like these, the roles shift and it’s a powerful reminder of the trust our clients place in us every day. As her primary care team, we were incredibly grateful to be supported by our extended veterinary community, who came together without hesitation to help when it mattered most, just as they do for so many of our patients.

For us at Manuka Vet, it was a reminder of the skill, compassion, and teamwork behind everything we do, for all your babies, within our clinic and across Canberra.
