Seek veterinary care if you notice:
Excessive panting or drooling
Lethargy, weakness, or collapse
Vomiting or diarrhoea
Bright red or very pale gums
Disorientation or seizures

Exercising during the heat of the day
Lack of shade or fresh water

How to protect your pet
Walk dogs early morning or late evening
Always provide cool shade and fresh water
Keep pets indoors during extreme heat
Never leave pets in cars
Test the ground with your handโif itโs too hot for you, itโs too hot for paws

Move your pet to a cool, shaded area
Offer small amounts of cool (not icy) water
