🐾 Tickles’ Happy Update! ❤️

We are so happy to share a wonderful update on our brave little patient, Tickles! 🐱

After suffering from a blocked bladder, Tickles underwent a specialised surgical procedure to give him a second chance at a happy, healthy life. It was a difficult journey, but this little fighter has done incredibly well. 💙

Tickles had his stitches removed today! 🎉 His recovery is going wonderfully, and he is doing very well.

We are incredibly proud of how far this little boy has come and so grateful to everyone who supported Tickles during his journey. 🥰

Keep doing what you’re doing, Tickles! We wish you a long, happy and healthy life. ❤️🐾

Steytlerville Sterilisation

Die Mount Pleasant Vets het weer vandag reg gestaan vir ons Steytlerville diere. 2 honde en 5 katte is gedoen.
Groot dank aan Mount Pleasant. Julle is werklik tops. Ek het nie altyd woorde om my dank uit te spreek nie. Julle vriendelikheid en hulpvaardigheid ken geen perke nie. Alles word met raakvat gedoen en elkeen weet presies wat en waar om te gryp, van waar die diere af gelaai word tot waar hulle weer op gelaai word.
Baie dankie Ursela en Louis Fourie wat bereid was om donker vanoggend te ry en die diere n kans te gee om gesteri te word. Hulle het baie drama gehad met paaie wat gebrand het en moes ompaaie ry om weer huis toe te kom. Natuurlik het dit baie langer geneem as gewoonlik.
Die diere is gesteri met "ou" donasies wat nou einde se kant toe staan. Vir mense wat altyd bereid was om hul harte en beursies oop te maak vir diere sê ons baie dankie. Hierdie werk kan nie gedoen word sonder mense se bydraes en hulp nie.

UPDATE: ENOUGH APPLICATIONS FOR PUPPY. ADOPTION IN PROGRESS!

This 8 week old puppy needs a home. He is half Anatolian Shepard and half border collie. He is the most beautiful boy. An adoption fee of R1500 will apply. This will cover his compulsory sterilization at 6 months, his 3rd inoculation and tick and flea treatment. He is already weighing 9kg so he will be a big boy.

Please only adopt if you can afford his most basic needs including any veterinary needs he might have in the future.

🐾❤️ NO MORE PUPPIES FOR THESE GIRLS! ❤️🐾

Today we had the pleasure of sterilizing four beautiful female dogs from Kinkelbos, just outside Colchester, brought in by Ronel from Colchester. 🐶🐶🐶🐶

Two of these girls were heavily pregnant, which makes today’s sterilizations even more important.

By sterilizing them, we have prevented four more litters of unwanted puppies from being born. 🙏❤️

Sterilization is one of the most effective ways we can help reduce the number of unwanted animals and give dogs a healthier, safer future.

✨ Four girls sterilized.
✨ No more unwanted puppies.
✨ Four families of puppies that won't end up needing homes.

We also gave them rabies vaccinations, biliary preventive treatment (as they were infested with ticks and fleas) and frontline.

A huge thank you to Ronel and those who have donated towards their sterilizations for helping make this possible! ❤️

Everything went extremely well. Now the rest is up to Tickles.

A huge thank you to Dr. Thys Potgieter who is always up to the task with this intensive procedure.

Thank you to everyone that donated. A total of R6800 came in for Tickles. The excess funds will be kept on his account for any future needs he might have.
