IMPORTANT NOTICE: AFTER-HOURS VETERINARY SERVICES
Dear Clients,
Please be advised that, going forward, our after-hours services will be available EXCLUSIVELY TO OUR OWN CLIENTS AT LORRAINE VET, AS WELL AS TO NEWTON PARK VET CLIENTS, as our practices share after-hours facilities.
We are currently inundated with calls from clients of other veterinary practices, as well as from veterinary practices that do not offer after-hours services. While we understand that emergencies can happen unexpectedly, the volume of these calls places significant additional demands on our veterinary team and impacts our ability to ensure that our own patients receive the care and attention they deserve.
This decision has been made with the wellbeing of both our veterinary team and our patients in mind. Providing after-hours care places significant demands on our doctors, and we want to ensure that our team is able to rest adequately and remain focused, energised, and at their best when caring for our patients during normal consulting hours.
By limiting after-hours care to our own clients and those of our shared facility, we can help prevent doctor burnout while continuing to provide our existing clients with the high standard of care they deserve.
We would therefore encourage all pet owners to choose a veterinary practice that can provide the range of services that best meets their needs, including after-hours and emergency care, should this be an important requirement for you and your pets.
