Just like us, pets need preventative care. Annual blood tests are one of the most important tools we have to keep your pet healthy and catch issues early.

Here's what we're checking:
🩸Complete Blood Count (CBC): Checks red & white blood cells, platelets. Detects infections, anemia, and clotting issues.
🩸Blood Chemistry Panel: Tests kidney function, liver health, blood sugar levels, and electrolytes. Catches early diabetes, kidney disease, and liver problems.
🩸 Thyroid Screening: Senior pets, especially thyroid issues, are common and very treatable once diagnosed.

Why it matters: Early detection = better outcomes + lower treatment costs. A seemingly healthy pet can have hidden issues that bloodwork reveals.

Questions about your pet's results? We're here to explain everything.

Let's talk about the big three summer parasites and why prevention is your best defense. 🦟

FLEAS: One flea becomes 1,000 in just 3 weeks. They cause itching, allergic reactions, and can transmit tapeworms. Once they're in your home? Nightmare to get rid of.

TICKS: These blood-suckers carry serious diseases: Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and Ehrlichiosis. One tick bite can change your pet's life.

HEARTWORMS: One mosquito bite. That's all it takes. These parasites live in the heart and blood vessels, causing permanent damage. Prevention is 100% effective. Treatment? Not guaranteed.

We recommend year-round parasite prevention for ALL pets. It's not optional in summer, it's essential.

Not sure what your pet needs? We'll create a personalized parasite prevention plan based on your pet's lifestyle, age, and health.

Your pet's summer depends on it. Let's protect them together. 🐾

Changes in appetite can sometimes be one of the first signs that something feels “off” for a senior pet.

Summer months bring warmer temperatures that may lead to lower energy levels, heavier panting, changes in appetite, increased sleeping, or less interest in walks and activity.

If you’ve noticed changes in your senior pet, our team is here to help.

🏠 A simple sticker could save your pet's life!

These can be found at most pet stores, through online retailers, or by requesting a free pet safety pack from the ASPCA at aspca.org. Your local humane society may also offer free resources.
