George and Martha's Testimonial: Moby’s Story 🐾

Moby, an elderly Dachshund living with arthritis and Cushing’s disease, came to the Animal Wellness Center in search of alternative treatment options for his condition. After dealing with Cushing’s in the past, George and Martha knew they did not want to take the same conventional route again after witnessing the negative side effects deminish quality of life of their previous dog.

Through a combination of herbal formulas and acupuncture treatments, Moby is now thriving without the harsh side effects and enjoying all the walks and treats he could ever want.

Dana and Brian’s Testimonial: Iyia’s Story

“Dr. Rose said, ‘Give me three weeks,’ and, I’m not even kidding, three weeks later [Iyia] was able to use her leg again.”

Dana Toll shares the heartfelt success story of Iyia, who came to Animal Wellness Center after suddenly being unable to use her hind leg and being told she would need surgery. Dana had heard of Dr. Rose DiLeva and Animal Wellness Center from her mom and sister after seeing the incredible progress her sister’s dog, Beamer, had made at AWC with his severe mobility issues.

Through acupuncture and other holistic treatments provided by Dr. Rose and the team, Iyia made an incredible recovery.

Only a short time later, Iyia was able to walk out of the Animal Wellness Center on her own, and today she is still walking, running, and playing happily. Dana and Brian’s experience is a heartwarming testament to the healing potential of integrative veterinary care.

We are so happy to share your success story, Iyia!

✨ Oscar’s Story told by Linda✨

"When my 12-year-old German Shepherd, Oscar, was diagnosed with Degenerative Myopathy(DM) in September of 2022 (he was only 8yrs old then), I was devastated. Some of the best veterinarians, including Penn Medicine, told me there was no cure and that he likely only had 6-12 months left to live. A friend recommended Dr. Rose DiLeva to me, and I first brought Oscar to see her on November 3, 2022. Thankfully, finding her changed everything for us.

Through acupuncture, ozone therapy, holistic treatments, herbs, laser treatments, and her incredible knowledge and compassion, Oscar is STILL walking today, years later. Because of the care she has given him, I made her my primary veterinarian.

During this time, we have also dealt with mange, a severe groin infection, Lyme disease, and multiple episodes of his back going out of alignment. Dr. DiLeva and her staff have helped us through every single challenge with patience, kindness, and support.

I especially want to mention Janet at the front desk. When Oscar had mange, I was calling almost daily, stressed and overwhelmed, and she was always there to help me get through the day. Her compassion and reassurance meant more than she probably knows.

Rachel, one of the technicians, is also absolutely wonderful. Oscar adores her. She is so gentle, caring, and attentive with him, and you can tell how much the staff truly loves the animals they care for.

This office has become like family to us. They have given Oscar quality of life, support, and time that I honestly did not think we would have. I will forever be grateful to Dr. DiLeva and her amazing team for everything they have done and continue to do for my boy."

🐾Furry Fact Friday🐾
Studies show cats can recognize their owner’s voice but may choose whether or not to respond. This isn't about a lack of affection; it’s the independent nature of cats. Unlike dogs, which were selectively bred to follow commands, cats adapted alongside humans on their own terms, and they take that indpendence very seriously.
