We are beyond excited to welcome our newest veterinarian to the Southern Hearts Animal Hospital family, Dr. Annalee Miller! Originally from Marion, Arkansas, Dr. Miller recently moved to Georgia with her husband, who is continuing his veterinary education at UGA in Aviary Medicine. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Arkansas in 2021 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. Annalee was a standout in both colleges earning honors and multiple awards, including the Chi Omega Graduate School Leadership Award for Future DVM. She made large impacts through her volunteer and community service work, including mentoring pre-veterinary students. Dr. Miller’s special interests include internal medicine and ophthalmology.
Outside of work you can find Dr. Miller traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is married to Dr. Hayden Miller and they have two dogs, Duke and Louie!
