THE CAT’S OUT OF THE BAG 😼 WE’RE MOVING!!! 💜

The staff and doctors at Boulevard Animal Hospital are thrilled to share with you that our practice is moving to a new location! We are looking forward to a fresh building, better parking, and more space to serve our furry friends and their people. We have loved serving our community from Prince Ave for the last sixteen years, and we are thrilled at the opportunity to continue serving you— with a little more elbowroom!

On Monday, November 16th, 2026, we will open in our new location at 590 Oglethorpe Avenue. Our building is located just past the UGA Health Sciences Campus, on Oglethorpe Avenue between Prince Avenue and Sunset Drive. We will no longer be at the Prince Avenue location after Thursday, November 12, 2026. We can’t wait to see your cats & dogs, and you there!

Please join us in congratulating our canine Pet of the Month:
🌍Atlas🌍

Here is what Atlas’s human has to say about him:
“Atlas was adopted through Athens Clarke County Animal Services & The Athens Humane Society last August. He found his forever home thru the Farmer’s Market meet and greet. He’s an affectionate, silly, playful guy. When he isn’t busy zoomin’ at the dog park, you can find him demanding head hugs, cuddling under the covers or hanging out behind the bar at Old Pal. His favorite food is whatever the nearest human is eating ❤️”

🍦Basja🍦

Here is what Basja’s humans have to say about her:
“Basja is a thirteen-year-old ragdoll cat with as much sass as she has fur. The enforcer of the family, she spends her days reining in her rambunctious younger siblings Hugo and Miles. She loves birdwatching, snuggling, and finishing off your ice cream when you’re not looking.”

🏖️Boudreaux🏖️

Here is what Boudreaux’s humans have to say about him:
“Boudreaux was adopted into the family in March 2023 and quickly made himself at home with us. He’s a happy-go-lucky pup who equally enjoys new adventures as much as lazy days basking in the sun. He’s traveled to 15 different states in the past 3.5 years making frequent trips to New Orleans, the mountains, and the beach. A big softie wrapped into 76 lbs of muscle, Boudreaux has brought a lot of joy and a lot of laughs to our lives and we thank everyone at Boulevard Animal Hospital for taking such good care of him!”

Please join us in congratulating our feline Pet of the Month:
🚪Kramer🚪
This sweet, cuddly boy is living his best indoor cat life.

Here is what Kramer’s humans have to say about him:
“Kramer, an Athens native, has been living the cozy indoor life he deserves since August 2025 after spending most of his life outdoors. Kramer earned his namesake by simply repeatedly inviting himself into the home unprompted, but Kramer found us at the perfect time. He had an abscess on his mouth and unmanaged diabetes and needed a helping hand. Now, Kramer spends his free time bravely learning how to manage his diabetes, yelling into the void, waiting for “goo time” (his daily churus), and people watching through the windows. Nobody is really certain how old actually he is (somewhere around 10ish), but that’s just because his personality and charm are utterly timeless; He’s missing a few teeth, but his smile remains undeniable. Kramer’s loves include his stuffed squirrel, exploring, rubbing his gums on people, and your undivided attention. Kramer is our complicated, super sweet, healthy little guy and we love him so much!”

🍝Mozzarella🍝
This cheesy boy has the softest little soul.

Here is what Mozzarella’s human has to say about him:
“Mozzarella was found running around the streets of Macon earlier this year. He was picked up in front of a pizza shop, which inspired his name. He quickly grew into his name by being such a big cheese. He greets anyone who walks by with a massive smile and a tail wag. He has brought me great joy. You always wonder who rescued who!”

🐄Moe🐄
The small, but mighty kitty.

Here is what Moe’s humans have to say about her:
“Moe is a barn cat turned home kitty. She loves scratches and cuddles! She is the sweetest little girl and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Though Moe is nervous at first, if you offer her love, she will be your best buddy!”

Please join us in congratulating our canine Pet of the Month:
🥾Zora🥾
Who would have thought such a petite creature would be so adventurous!

Here is what Zora’s humans have to say about her:
“We adopted Zora in 2019 and she has kept our lives filled with endless joy since. She’s about 10lbs but thinks she’s 100! She loves kayaking, hiking and keeping the neighborhood cat on its toes! We love our ZoZo!“
