This little Jellybean will never be alone again. This 5-year-old Chihuahua mix who came to Joybound from Solano County Sheriff's Office Animal Care Division, was lucky enough to find a forever home last week where a fellow Chihuahua was ready to welcome her. At just 5 pounds, this little lady may be small, but she's gaining a built-in canine companion and a family to love her for years to come. ❤️🐾

As the name implies, Berkeley Humane's Bark (and Meow) Around the Block festival today is about more than just the canines! Joybound's mobile adoption team has some super-cute kittens (like Orping) on our adoption truck, who can't wait to meet you. We'll be here in Berkeley until 4 PM, and we're waiving the adoption fees for all of the adoptable animals we bring to the event!

A joyful ending was always in the cards for a cat like Kitefin. This beautiful 3-year-old kitty came to Joybound from Solano County Sheriff's Office Animal Care Division and last week she found a family to call her own. As you can tell from the smiles in this photo, Kitefin's journey has led her into the arms of people ready to love her. ❤️🐾

How tail-waggingly, zoomie-inducingly, ear-to-ear smilingly perfect is Bundt Cake? This 4-month-old + mix (aka ) will be available for adoption with Joybound's mobile adoption team tomorrow (Saturday) at Berkeley Humane's Bark (and Meow) Around the Block festival in Berkeley! We'll be there from 10 AM - 4 PM, but this handsome guy is sure to go quickly so if you're interested in him be sure to arrive early! And if that's not enough, we're waiving the adoption fees for all of the adoptable animals we bring to the event. See you there for a fabulous day of puppy love!

How about this voyage from an emergency evacuation to a loving home? Ollie was one of the adoptable pets that Joybound evacuated from County of Los Angeles Palmdale Animal Care Center, amidst July's Summit Fire in Los Angeles. Despite this unexpected detour on his journey to adoption, Ollie found a family of his own last week — and the happy ending he deserved. ❤️🐾
