What an incredible day! 🎉🎀✂️ Joybound was blessed to be joined by local dignitaries, city officials, community partners and passionate volunteers to celebrate the re-opening of our Joybound Thrift Store, Cat Lounge & Adoption Center. This exciting, new-and-improved space blends community, compassion, and second chances under one roof.
Plus, February 11, 2026 was officially named "Joybound People & Pets Day" in the City of Concord, California. Now that's something to purr about!
We invite you to see what the fuss is about and give us a visit at 1950 Market Street, Suite I — directly next door to our previous thrift store location.

If you were lucky enough this holiday season to upgrade your wardrobe and home with new clothing, new appliances, and new odds-and-ends, we’d love to put your old goods towards a good cause at the Joybound Thrift Store! Thrift donations can be dropped off Monday - Saturday, from 10 AM - 2 PM at 1950 Market Street, Suite I in Concord, CA.

After months of construction, we’re thrilled to share that our newly refreshed Joybound Thrift Store is scheduled to re-open on January 5 at 1950 Market Street, Suite I in Concord, CA. And shortly after that, we’ll debut our brand-new Cat Lounge and Adoption Center under the same roof! Second chances for household treasures AND fabulous kitty play time? Yes, please!
Donation drop-offs will resume on Monday, December 22. Visit our website for more dates, donation hours, information about what we can (and can’t) accept, and everything else you need to know before you shop or donate for a wonderful cause.
