He has lived with dogs before and did well with them, though he hasn't been around other cats since he was a kitten. Charles also has a playful side and especially enjoys chasing spring toys. Last week, 18 animals found their forever homes! Congratulations to the 7 dogs, 9 cats, and 2 small animals who are now settling in with their new families.

On this Best Friends Day, we're celebrating these happy endings and the special bonds formed between pets and their new best friends.

A huge thank you to Taylor Construction for being an annual sponsor and helping make these life-changing adoptions possible. Their support allows us to continue caring for animals and connecting them with loving homes.

Today is an exciting day for the VBSPCA as our brand-new Neuter Scooter officially begins serving pets throughout Hampton Roads!

Made possible by the incredible generosity of our donors and supporters, this mobile clinic will help bring affordable spay/neuter services, vaccinations, and preventive care directly to the communities that need them most.

Every mile traveled represents more pets receiving lifesaving care and more families gaining access to essential veterinary services.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this dream a reality. We can't wait to see the impact the Neuter Scooter will have on pets and people across our community!

Thanks to our amazing community, 30 animals found loving homes this week! That includes 10 dogs, 19 cats, and 1 small animal who all got the fresh start they deserve.

Every adoption creates space for another animal in need, and we couldn't do it without your support.

Meet Zeus! Zeus is a 3-year-old bully mix looking for a fresh start after having a rough time recently. Despite everything he has been through, Zeus has been an absolute love bug with our staff while recovering from his injuries.

At this time, Zeus will need to be the only pet in the home so he can continue building confidence and feel safe in his new environment. We also require any children in the home to be 10 and up.

Zeus is a sweet boy with so much love to give and our kennel team would be happy to answer any questions or introduce you to him. Stop by the shelter to meet Zeus today!
