⭐️ Prepare to be amazed! ⭐️
Our gravel yards and sidewalk path at the VBAS facility have experienced a tumultuous relationship. Despite years of repeated efforts to maintain the gravel in its designated area (the yards), a collaborative effort between the London Bridge Baptist Church and the Send Relief Service Tour has emerged as a solution.

Through months of meticulous planning, a delightful weekend, and the participation of a substantial group of volunteers, they have successfully installed dog-friendly barriers around the perimeter of the fencing, effectively enclosing the rocks.

We are deeply appreciative of the collaborative efforts of our community partners in devising innovative solutions to support the welfare of shelter animals within our community. ❤️

This FOSTER FRI-YAY is brought to you by available good boy, MASON!

“Hi! I’m Mason! I’m in a foster home but still looking for my forever home! I’ve settled in nicely and I’m told that I’m easy and pretty low maintenance in my foster home!

Some great news about me:

✅I’m potty trained!

✅ I’m crate trained! I don’t stay in a crate now because I can be trusted when I’m left alone.

✅I don’t chew things that I’m not supposed to.

✅I’m good in the car and love to go for rides.

✅I love to explore and sniff – lots of sniffing!

My foster mom and dad say:

I’m quiet, friendly, and affectionate. I love attention, hanging out with my people and getting some pets from them! They think I’m one of the sweetest fosters EVER! Every morning, I greet my foster parents with a wiggly, happy body and a toy in my mouth – YES. every. single. day.

I’m learning to trust humans; they’re really not so scary. It still takes time for me to get to know new people, but once I feel safe and comfy, I’ll be your friend for life! I would also do best in an adult home or home with older kids.

I can still be a scaredy dog at times, but each day, I’m learning to be more and more brave.

It's a wonderful day for a field trip! 🐾🐶

Did you know you can stop by the shelter during business hours (12 pm to 5 pm) and "Check-Out" a dog??

This is a FREE program. We provide everything you need for a successful outing (p**p bags, treats, a handy info sheet, etc.)

In exchange - you provide a shelter dog with some much-needed time away from the stresses of the shelter, an experience, and hopefully - a report card of what you witnessed/experienced so we can continue to learn more about our adoptable pups.

Sounds great, right? We think so, too! For more info, stop by the shelter and speak with a staff member. You can sign up and participate same day!

Hope to see you today or tomorrow for a Field Trip. The weather is going to be great! ☀️
