🐾💙 FOUR WEEKS OF HARLAN RHODES!!!! 🥰

HOW is our teeny tiny bottle baby already 4 weeks old?!?!

From a fragile little 94-gram newborn who needed help with absolutely everything to this fluffy, bright-eyed little heart-stealer! 🥹

He's growing, exploring, finding his little personality, and becoming more adorable by the day.

And apparently, he's decided that being tucked into mom’s blanket is exactly where he belongs. 🤣❤️

Four weeks of sleepless nights, countless feedings, and watching this tiny little miracle grow.

Keep growing, little man. You've got a whole Shack family cheering you on! 🐾💙

Before October slips away, I want to say thank you. ❤️
This month, you helped us care for a newborn who needed around-the-clock feedings.
You sent kitten food, wipes, supplements and everyday supplies.
You shared adoptable cats, celebrated progress and continued showing up whenever we needed our village.

And our Kitty Keepers helped provide something rescue desperately needs: Dependable support.
Thank you for helping to purchase food, litter, cleaning supplies and necessities for the foster babies in our care.

One small monthly gift may not feel powerful by itself. But hundreds of people giving a little can build something strong enough to carry us through the next unexpected intake.

If you are already a Kitty Keeper, thank you.

😩 IT. NEVER. ENDS. 😩

Shack Family, meet our newest arrivals…THE SCARY MOVIE CREW! 🔪🎃🐈‍⬛

Just when we think kitten season might FINALLY be slowing down… here comes another momma and her FIVE babies.

Everyone is now safely inside The Catty Shack, but y’all…kitten season is certainly keeping us on our toes!

And while these six have some pretty killer names, the reality behind their rescue isn't nearly as entertaining.

Kitten season is NEVER ENDING, and rescues everywhere are feeling the strain.

With more little mouths to feed, we are going to be DESPERATELY NEEDING KITTEN WET AND DRY FOOD very, very soon. Our supplies are already being stretched thin, and every new intake adds to that need.

❤️ Want to help us feed the Scary Movie Crew and all the other babies at The Shack?

Every bag of kitten food, every case of wet food, and every dollar makes a difference. We truly cannot do this without our Shack Family! ❤️

And PLEASE 📢 SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR CATS! IF YOU FEED THEM, FIX THEM!

Feeding community cats is compassionate, but getting them spayed and neutered is how we stop this cycle.

Because for every momma and litter we get safely inside, there are countless others still out there.

Welcome to The Catty Shack, Pamela Voorhees, Sidney, Annie Wilkes, Michael Meowers, Tatum, and Gage. 🖤

We promise your next chapter will be a whole lot less scary. ❤️

It’s never ending yall. 😡
Never. Freaking. Ending.
Just a young momma and her pile of babies.
I am keeping a close eye on her from the kennel camera.
I will post an update tomorrow.
Your girl is tired. 🥱

Happy National Cat Day!

10/29/2026

It’s National Cat Day—which feels slightly unnecessary around here because EVERY day is Cat Day. 😂🐾

Today we’re celebrating:
The shy cats learning that hands can be gentle.
The community cats living safer lives because of TNR.
The former street cats sleeping in warm beds.
The special-needs cats who do everything in their own beautiful way.
The adoptable cats still waiting for someone to notice them.
And the deeply loved house cats running your homes while allowing you to pay the bills.

Show us your cat(s)! Post their photo and name in the comments!
