Five Star Vet is perfect for those days your vet can't fit you in and your pet still needs seen! Five Star was made with all pet parents in mind.

Five Star Veterinary Center
Doctors Kilty and Eigenbrod both saw a climbing need for day time urgent care in the Springfield area and surrounding towns. It is common for veterinary clinics in the area to be fully booked and pet parents cant get the care they need, when they need it. We are urgent care open during the day, so we can schedule an appointment today to get your pet in to see the veterinarian faster

Happy Halloween from all of us here at Five Star! Remember to keep your pets safe today! Keep them on a leash when outside and remember costumes can be scary to them. All treats must be dog/cat appropriate.. NO chocolate!

🐾 HEY VETS… COME WORK WITH US! 🩺❤️

Are you looking for a place where you can practice great medicine, have an awesome team behind you, AND still have a life outside of work? We should talk. 😉

Five Star Veterinary Center is growing, and we’re looking for another veterinarian to join our crew!

✨ The best part? We’re flexible!

Want to work 1–2 days a week? Great.
Want 3–4 days? Also great.

Want to build dentistry, surgery, or any other niche in vet med? GREAT!

We’re more interested in finding the right person than fitting someone into a rigid schedule.

🐶 Small-animal same-day urgent care with some GP work
💰 Benefits package available
🩺 Experienced & supportive team
🏅 AAHA-accredited hospital committed to high standards of veterinary care
🌿 Integrative medicine — chiropractic & acupuncture
🎓 New grads OR experienced vets welcome

🏡 A schedule that leaves room for an actual life!

We work hard, laugh a lot, take great care of our patients, and genuinely enjoy the people we work with.

If you’re a veterinarian who’s been thinking, “Maybe I just need to find the right practice…” — this might be your sign. ⭐️

Thor, the man that holds us all together! We are most thankful for him! He is the guy that keeps us on our toes and makes us giggle all day. He is also there to give us extra affection on hard days!
