My name is Dana. I am the owner of All About Pets. Here is a bit of information about me and why I started my pet sitting
business to help familiarize yourself with me before I come to meet
your furry family. I recently quit my long time job in Retail Sales because I wanted to
do something that I was passionate about and I wanted the
opportunity to be my own boss. After doing some research onlin
e,
I learned that Pet Sitting was becoming a very popular alternative
to traditional boarding. After looking into what it takes to get a
Pet Sitting business going and discussing it with my family,
I decided that this was the perfect opportunity for me. I live with my boyfriend, Chad, and my 12 year old son, Austin. We have 2 dogs of our own. One is an 8 year old Lab/Weirmaraner mix named Dundie, and the other is a 1 and ½ year old Miniature Pinscher named Kane. They are both very spoiled and are treated like our children. Growing up, I always had an array of different pets; everything from dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, frogs and turtles. When I was young, my dream was to have a farm with every animal you could imagine and as many of them as possible. Though I never did get my farm, one of my best friends lived on a farm and I was fortunate to spend time with all sorts of different animals. I have a deep love and am truly passionate about animals and the joy they bring to peoples’ lives. If you work long hours or don’t have as much time as you’d like to get your pets playtime, or if you have a business trip, vacation, or even a long weekend planned, I would love to keep your pets safe, active, and comfortable.
