We’re excited to welcome the newest member of our team, Dr. Candace Whittington, who will be joining our practice on June 1st!

Dr. Whittington’s arrival means we’ll be able to expand availability for new clients while also offering more appointment openings for pets who need prompt care when they’re sick or experiencing urgent concerns.

Dr. Candace Whittington has been practicing veterinary medicine for the past five years in Peoria, Illinois. Her passion for animal care began at an early age through caring for her family’s pets, which inspired her lifelong dedication to veterinary medicine.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University before completing her veterinary education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts.

Dr. Whittington is passionate about helping animals live happy, healthy lives, with a special interest in preventative care. She understands that pets are more than companions — they are cherished members of the family.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Dr. Whittington holds a special place in her heart for veterans and military families. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with loved ones and staying active outdoors with her dog, Tucker, and her cat, Oscar.

Lost and Found

A pair of glasses were found in the parking lot and keys in the snowy grass. If you are missing either one of these they will be at the front desk.

It's that time of year and we must announce our holiday. We like to ensure we give our staff plenty of time to spend with their family during this holiday season. Please be sure to make note of the dates and times we will be open and closed outside our normal business hours. Check and make sure you have all the food and medications you need ahead of time.
