This Earth Day, take your pet outside and get your hands dirty — together. A pet-safe garden is one of the best ways to enjoy the season while keeping your four-legged family member in mind. Stick to pet-friendly plants like sunflowers, marigolds, and pet-safe herbs, and skip the pesticides and fertilizers that can be harmful if ingested.

A little planning goes a long way toward a garden that's beautiful for you and safe for them.

Please help us welcome Dr. Kelley DeLacey to the Sunset Hill team! 🎉🐾

Dr. Kelley DeLacey graduated from Berry College in Rome, Georgia with a degree in Animal Science. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University in St. Kitts and spent her early years practicing in and around Washington, DC before relocating to Seattle. She is passionate about providing high-quality medicine in a Fear Free setting.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner, her calico cat Malibu, and her hound mix Sheba. She also loves baking sourdough, rock climbing, and traveling whenever she gets the chance.

We also want to share that Dr. Guan will be departing Sunset Hill. We’re incredibly grateful for the care and dedication Dr. Guan has provided to our patients and clients, and we wish her all the best in her next chapter.

Join us in welcoming Dr. DeLacey and sending well wishes to Dr. Guan! 🐶🐱 If you’d like, introduce your pets in the comments below!
