A few people have asked where the Preferred Pet Sitter mobile has been recently... I'm sad to report the PETSTR 'Ru was totalled last month in a collision due to another drivers error 😞 It's been a sad road forging forward since. A replacement car has been chosen, and a Subaru Outback will be soon gracing the Prior Lake and Savage community with PPS glory again 🧡

Remember to crate your dogs when riding in cars 🎗️ the dogs in my car could have been seriously hurt or killed if it hadn't been for crates!

Join us in remembering a wonderful person, Janna Wood. Each year the Shakopee Police Department honors her life with a diaper drive. This drive helps families in our community that are in need. Donations can be dropped off or shipped directly via amazon starting Jan 27th 👶🍼 Make a difference today!

February 5th marks the 8-year anniversary of Janna Wood’s passing. Our dear friend and former Crime Prevention Specialist, Janna passed away in 2017 along with her baby due to Deep Vein Thrombosis. In her honor, we will host our 9th Annual Diaper Drive from Jan. 27 - Feb. 7. This will benefit the Shakopee Community Assistance Diaper Bank, which provides diapers to families in need.

Please drop off any amount, size or type of diapers, wipes and/or creams to the Shakopee Police Department (or in the entryway if after hours). Want to help but can't make it to the PD? Have the diapers delivered right to our address: 475 Gorman St, Shakopee 55379👍

As we step into 2025, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible year 2024 was for Preferred Pet Sitter. Thanks to the hard work, dedication, and passion of each of our staff members, we have achieved tremendous growth, surpassed key milestones, and set new standards of care in the Savage & Prior Lake and surrounding community.

We’re proud to have seen a year of great accomplishments, and as we head into our **15th year** of business, I couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds. Reaching this significant milestone is a testament to the commitment and resilience of our team, our partners, and our loyal customers.

Looking ahead, we have a lot to look forward to in 2025. Our company is poised for even greater growth, and opportunities. I am incredibly excited about the ways in which we’ll continue to elevate our services and impact on the pets in Savage & Prior Lake.
