Happy Gotcha Day to Coco! ❤️

Today marks two years since this sweet girl found her forever home—and what an incredible journey it has been!

Many of you may remember Coco as our cover girl alongside Aaron O’Connell for People Pets. It was such a special experience and a day we’ll never forget. 🥰

Just look at how much she’s grown—the last photo says it all! Watching her thrive and become the beautiful dog she is today has been an absolute joy.

A huge thank you to Pilots N Paws for helping make her rescue journey possible. Because of amazing pilot volunteers like Aaron, animals like Coco get the second chance they deserve. ✈️🐾

Mark your calendar and get ready to bring home your new best friend! Join us on Saturday, June 6 to celebrate California Adopt-a-Pet Day, with waived adoption fees for every available animal!

Our shelters are full of dogs and puppies, cats and kittens, guinea pigs, farm animals, reptiles — so many deserving animals with lots of love to give. Shelters across California are overcapacity with animals in need of loving homes, so we’re excited to join this state-wide initiative hosted by CalAnimals, SF SPCA and the ASPCA to help even more pets find their new families.

Fees will be waived on June 6 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at all our locations in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside and San Diego! Adoptions are completed on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend arriving early to take advantage of this one-day promotion.

Gizmo is the smaller guy who’s a lover and Nandor is always in pursuit of chaos & anarchy… but loves cuddles too. 😌

It’s such a blessing when siblings get adopted together, especially in this situation with the biggest brother going with the littlest guy..

We are absolutely overflowing with tiny mouths to feed right now, and our kitten food supply is disappearing faster than ever!

With so many kittens in our care-and another mama cat looking like she’s ready to give birth any day now—we know even more hungry little faces are on the way…

If you’re able to help, please consider sending an item from our wishlist. Every can, bag, or pouch of kitten food makes a real difference and helps us continue saying
“yes” to animals in need.

The shelter crisis isn’t slowing down, and neither are the calls for help.

We have inexpensive choices on all of our wishlists for wet and dry food.

She was adopted from us a few years ago and is looking for a new family. Lyra has a sister that she doesn’t get along with, and our adopters feel like she’d be happier somewhere else. Also, she’s going to find any holes in your fencing—so she needs a more secure yard.
