June is Megaesophagus Awareness Month.
Labrador Rescuers girl Charlize has congenital Megaesophagus.

Megaesophagus is a condition where the esophagus loses muscle tone and becomes enlarged. Instead of actively pushing food and water into the stomach, it becomes a flaccid tube where food and water accumulates. This causes affected dogs to passively "regurgitate" undigested food and water.

Charlize is a Lifeboat Lab with Labrador Rescuers of San Diego.
She will live her entire life out with LR and is part of her permanent fosters family.

Consider being a monthly donor to help our lifeboat Labs.
