🫶 The face of absolute joy from Jimmy - a boy who’s learning that life is far more than a dark basement! We’ve learned this boy ADORES female dogs and they give him a huge confidence boost! He takes cues from the other dog and what we saw was amazing. He acted like a real dog. We want to get Jimmy in a home with a sweet female dog who can show him the ropes and teach him how to dog! 😍 Look at puppy Boo soaking up and learning all about the good life in foster (including visiting breweries)! This gal is as cute as it gets with her one spotted ear, cute nose freckles and big floppy paws. She’s a very playful 8-month-old pup with decent recall and mad hops. I’m learning to sit, to relax at home, and to receive love and When she’s excited, she’ll do a little tippy tappy dance for you. She’s interested in other dogs and enjoys playtime, but people are her jam. If easy going and cute as a button is your thing, she’s your gal!

❤️ Jimmy comes to the facility weekly to play with the dogs. Last week we brought a dog to him. What we learned is that Jimmy being in a home with another playful female makes his world that much more special and accepting. He takes cues from the other dog and what we saw was amazing. He acted like a real dog. When it was time for helper dog Beetle to leave, Jimmy howled for hours, which broke everyone’s heart. We want to get Jimmy in a home with another sweet female dog that can show him the ropes and teach him how to dog! This guy is so special and although he has a horrific past, when he’s with another dog he is ready to move on and leave the past where it belongs. 😍 That smile and those lil legs will bring the “awwwws” all day long! Delphine loves being with the big dogs! She’s a 1.5-year-old with a huge heart, fun personality and some uncertainty about the big world around her! Confident, playful large dogs are the ultimate confidence booster for her, and she finds the world to be not nearly as overwhelming with a big friend that has her back. She becomes your bff and shadow once you gain her trust (give her 15 mins)! She really is the sweetest, most loving, silly gal!

We couldn’t leave him behind, and because a foster family was willing to say yes, Jimmy now knows kindness, compassion, and a soft touch. From living in a basement suffering broken bones, and horrific wounds for trying to survive……to joy, peace, and love. Jimmy is slowly acclimating to indoor living and will need a patient adopter who understands his life indoors was nothing but cruel, and painful - his home was never safe. He absolutely loves being with a playful female large dog, he finds comfort, and courage in following the lead of another dog. His amazing foster family has already worked magic on a completely shut down boy who his own movement terrified him, and continues to build confidence preparing him to transition into his adoptive home. Well, we did say Willow, (Wrinkle Girl) would be up for adoption…… surprise!!!!! She’s not leaving, her foster family says Willow is home! 💕 Congrats to Willow’s amazing new family, she definitely hit the jackpot. ❤️🐶
