The online scheduler for July dog and personally owned cat appointments will open this coming Monday, June 1st at 7am on www.communityspayneuter.com

All feral and community cat appointments for July must be made by phone. We start accepting calls for scheduling on June 1st at 7am.

We are incredibly thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a $50,000 grant from the CDFA Pet Lover's License Plate Program! 🐾💛

What does this mean for your home? It means there are officially zero excuses left to keep those cats unaltered! Starting June 1st, we are launching a brand new BOGO Cat Spay/Neuter Program for owned cats living in the same household. 🐱✨

How it works: Bring in two cats from your household—pay for the first cat's surgery, and we will cover the cost of the second one!

If you’ve been putting off getting your pets fixed because of the cost, this is your sign. Spaying and neutering keeps your cats healthier, stops unwanted behaviors, and prevents accidental litters.

📅 Mark your calendars: The program officially begins on June 1st, which is also the exact day our July scheduling opens!

Community Spay Neuter Clinic will be closed this coming Monday 5/25 in observance of Memorial Day and will reopen on Tuesday 5/26. We step away from business to honor and remember the brave heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom ✨

Trivia Question: What is this troublesome plant called?
Answer: Foxtail 🌾
These dangerous, barbed grasses can easily puncture skin and burrow into paws, ears, noses, and mouths. Left untreated, they can travel deeper into the body and even pierce internal organs. If a foxtail becomes embedded, veterinary care is highly recommended to safely remove it.
The best way to protect your furry friends is prevention:
🐾 Avoid areas with tall, dry grasses
🐾 Remove foxtails from your yard
🐾 Always check your pet’s fur after being outside
