The votes are in for Cosmo’s new name!

“Drum roll please….The people have spoken… let us introduce SCOOBY! Just wanted to let you know he’s doing GREAT! Morning hikes on the American River, lots of couch naps, and YES he loves his wubba and snuggles from all of us!”

But at least she seems happy about the rescue, right?

A sweet Monday morning kitty update to start your week off right!

“When we unexpectedly lost our 10 year old cat, his bonded friend Sam became silent and skittish. He used to fill our house with meowels. Enter Bonnie. Tiny (5.5 pounds when adopted, 6.5 pounds today) and deceptively innocuous looking - Post adoption she spent about 4 hours in her safe room before escaping and running straight out to meet Sam. She quickly let us know that she makes the rules by climbing everything in the house and insisting that the kitchen counter is a great place to hang out, especially if someone is cooking. Within weeks Bonnie and Sam were allogrooming and beginning to play and nap together; within months Sam was again filling our house with his songs.”
