We hope you will join us at the Fireman's Field in Hamlin, NY for this fun, family-friendly event featuring four all-breed dog shows, over three days. Many special activities will be available including junior showmanship, basket raffles, Meet the Breeds (Saturday), two 4-6 month puppy competitions, FSS Open Shows, AKC National Owner-Handled Series, a Texas BBQ (Saturday), a cardiac clinic (Saturday) - and more.

We have what feels like five thousand dogs at Brass City Rescue Alliance. The calls for help just keep coming and being overwhelmed is an understatement. It costs a small fortune to vet these furbabies, so unfortunately we cannot waive adoption fees. If interested in giving a dog a loving home, you lose nothing by reaching out to us. If we don’t have a match, we will FIND you a dog with another shelter or rescue. It’s all about the dogs. 🐾

Fun, celebrations, and a moment of reflection at this year’s GVKC annual picnic. Congratulations to Kris Fletcher for her selection as Member of the Year and thank you to Matt and Lori for hosting our event. Kudos to our official Club Chef, Matt, for cooking an amazing pot of jambalaya. Congratulations to all of our Club members who completed titles on their dogs in 2024! We also took a moment to recognize and remember GVKC lifetime member and beloved friend, Steve Barbash, who passed away in December. In memory of Steve, we presented the AKC’s Outstanding Sportsmanship Award to his family, Trish and Micah.

What a fun day we had at our first GVKC FastCAT Fun Run! Extending our deepest gratitude to all of our club volunteers, our hosts Matt and Lori Davis, and most especially everyone who entered their dogs in support of our event. Thank you so much! We loved meeting you and your dogs and welcoming so many of you who were participating in a FCAT event for the very first time. 🐶🐕🐾😍

We are one week away from the closing date (July 16th) for the GVKC AKC Fun Run which will take place on Saturday, July 19th at East Wind's Canine Events. There are still some spots available at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm. Don't miss this great opportunity to give this sport a try. AKC rules apply except that dogs do not need to be formally registered with AKC.
