We are one week away from the closing date (July 16th) for the GVKC AKC Fun Run which will take place on Saturday, July 19th at East Wind's Canine Events. There are still some spots available at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm. Don't miss this great opportunity to give this sport a try. AKC rules apply except that dogs do not need to be formally registered with AKC. Your dog must be at least one year old to participate. Pre-registration is required and payment (cash or check) is due at check in. GVKC FCAT Fun Trial, May 10, 2025, has been cancelled.

Due to the heavy rains in the past few days, the course is not deemed safe for the dogs. In addition, the grass parking area is saturated with water and will not support the weight of vehicles.

The club is in the process of establishing a new date for the event. Those who already sent in entries have been notified by email. Once a new date has been picked, we will post information on social media and our website.

The club thanks everyone who chose to support this event! We hope that a new date will allow those who entered the May 10 event to attend at a later time.
