We’re so sorry to share that we’ve had to cancel next week’s clinic on 8/18/25 due to not having a doctor available. We tried everything we could, right up until the last minute to find coverage but unfortunately, we weren’t able to secure a Doctor.

We know many of you were counting on this clinic, and we deeply regret the inconvenience this may cause. 💙

We’re actively working on scheduling a make-up clinic soon, and we’ll share the new dates as soon as they’re confirmed. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

Hello RCAC family,

We want to share that our clinic is currently without a full-time DVM. While this is a big change, please know that we are actively working to fill this role with supporting veterinarians to continue providing care for your pets.

As we navigate this transition, our hours may be limited throughout the rest of the month. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Started by the Kennel Club and ADT in 2009, was created to raise awareness around learning how to keep pets safe in the event of a fire.
Our tips:
🔥Make a family evacuation plan and practice it with your pets to make sure you keep those you love safe from harm.
🔥If you cannot quickly access your pet's carrier, use a pillowcase to secure your cat.
🔥Cats are curious, ensure your pet is not left unattended around an open flame and make sure to thoroughly extinguish any open flame before leaving your home.
🔥Cats often chew on loose wires, which poses not only a fire hazard to your pet but also an electrical one. Keep cords hidden/secured.
🔥Microchip your pet. In case your panicked animal runs away from your home, rescuers, or you during the chaos of a fire, chances of having them returned to you are greatly increased if your pet is microchipped.
