A year.

365+ days of watching families come and go.

365+ days of seeing other dogs find their forever homes.

365+ days of waiting for someone to choose them.

The faces in this post have all been with us for a year or longer. Some have had little interest. Some have had none. And we can't help but wonder why.

The truth is, they each have their own needs and considerations. Maybe they would do best as the only pet. Maybe they need older kids. Maybe they need someone willing to take introductions slowly or give them a little extra time to settle in.

But here's the thing...
That doesn't make them "less than." It makes them individuals.

The reality is that very few dogs - whether they come from a rescue or are purchased from a breeder - are truly "turn-key." Every dog has quirks, preferences, and things they're still learning. These dogs simply wear theirs a little more openly.

What they all have in common is that they love deeply, deserve stability, and are more than ready to give their whole hearts to someone willing to see past a checklist.

We know their people are out there. Maybe they've just never seen them.

At 12pm sharp dog parents will Parade their dog around the Market for all to ooh and aww over. And before if after make sure to check out the many dog-centered vendors and info booths.
