This recall may also include compounded prescriptions from Chewy pharmacy. No medications carried by or dispensed directly from Doorbell Vet are included in the recall.

As National Vet Tech Appreciation Week comes to a close, we wanted to take one more opportunity to share just how grateful we are for our LVTs. There is simply no veterinary medicine without them, and the work they do to keep a vet hospital functioning is impressive and oh so appreciated.

The same can be said about our other fabulous, talented, and hardworking support staff. Veterinary Assistants actually share many similar duties as the technicians, helping to keep things running smoothly while also somehow managing to keep the techs and doctors sane! Customer Service Reps work diligently behind the scenes making the magic happen, including appointments and communications and about a million other responsibilities!

Thank you techs, assistants, and CSRs!

Happy Vet Tech Week!

Did you know there are strict requirements to become a vet tech in New York? You have to complete a rigorous 2 year accredited program, then pass the incredibly comprehensive state licensing exam. There are also career-lasting continuing education requirements to maintain the license.

We currently have two staff members who are in the midst of vet tech school, Mandy and Angelina. We are so proud of these two, they’re working very hard towards becoming vet techs!

SURPRISE!

We’re so excited to share that we have not one but TWO new additions to Doorbell Vet! We had recently introduced Dr. Holly Annunziato (“a-noon-zee-ah-to”), now please join us in welcoming Dr. Gabryszak (“gab-reh-zack”) as well!

Dr. Gabryszak has a passion for preventative medicine, along with surgery, improving access to veterinary care, and even wildlife rehabilitation.

In her other life outside of work, she stays busy by hiking with her dog, Misia (a.k.a. Meesh), running, skateboarding, playing ice hockey, guitar, and birdwatching. Her foster turtle and aquarium of freshwater fish hold the fort down at home. Dr. Gabryszak also speaks/translates Polish! 🇵🇱

We’re beyond thrilled to have her join the DBV family and look forward to introducing her to the wonderful world of house calls!

🐾 Please join us in welcoming Dr. Holly Annunziato to Doorbell Vet! 🐾

A Rochester native, Dr. Holly earned her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Tufts University.

Her interests include surgery, internal medicine, and palliative & hospice care. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills with her fiancé and two cats, Romeo & Puck.

We’re so happy to have her join the DBV family!
