Yes, older dogs can safely undergo anesthesia — with the right precautions in place. Pre-anesthetic bloodwork, tailored medications, and careful monitoring help reduce risk. Age alone isn’t a reason to skip a procedure your dog may need.

f you’ve called the clinic or stopped by the front desk, chances are you’ve already met Mariah. She’s one of the sweet voices that greets you on the phone and the friendly face that helps keep everything running smoothly up front. Mariah is always ready to help clients, love on your pets, and bring a little fun to the clinic while she’s at it.

We asked her some important questions. Here’s what we learned.

If she were a taco: Barbacoa, avocado, lime, and a Big Red on the side

Go to cocktail: Tequila Sprite or Tequila Pineapple.

Favorite cereal:Honey Cheerios

Weird food combination: Hot Cheetos with cream cheese. She fully stands by this life choice.

Dream car:1967 candy red Mustang. Yes! We love a muscle car.

If she wins the lottery, she's buying land and moving to Idaho.

Disney princess: Mulan

Favorite movie: The Best of Me

Karaoke song: Shallow from A Star Is Born

Favorite cheese:Smoked gouda.

Favorite food: A juice steak

If she was a potato: Loaded baked potato with ALL the fixings

Superpower: Speed

Favorite show: Reality TV. The trashier the better.

Hobby: Fishing

Next time you call or stop by the front desk, make sure to say hi to Mariah!

If you’ve called or stopped by the front desk lately, there’s a good chance you’ve already met Cumorah. She’s one of the friendly faces helping keep things running smoothly up front and making sure your pets (and you) feel welcome the moment you walk in.

Of course we had to ask her some very important questions so everyone can get to know her a little better.

If you could be a taco: Pulled pork BBQ taco

Cocktail: Lemonade girl through and through

Favorite cereal: Honey Bunches of Oats

Favorite snack: Sour cream and onion chips

Hobbies: She a competitive ballroom dancer, loves crocheting, and if it has the word "board" in it she probably a fan of it.

Dream car: Any American muscle car.

If you win the lottery: Buy 300 acres and a beach house in Italy. (Please take us with you)

Disney princess: Merida or Rapunzel

Zombie apocalypse partner: Kendell (we respect the strategy)

Favorite movie: Kiss Me, Kate

Karaoke song: Careless Whisper by George Michael

Favorite cheese: H-E-B green chile cheese

Favorite food: Sushi

Favorite show: Friends

If she were a potato: Mashed potatoes with no gravy. (I am judging you so hard.)

Weird food combo: Chipotle aioli on everything! (At this point, just stick a straw in the bottle)

Villain she would defend in court: Magneto (honestly… she has a point)

Next time you’re at County Line Vet Clinic make sure to say hi to Cumorah at the front desk.
