If your dog struggles with anxiety during fireworks, Sileo® Gel may help keep them calmer during loud noise events like the Fourth of July.

Unlike sedatives, Sileo is designed to help reduce fear and anxiety while allowing your dog to remain awake and responsive. It works best when given at the first signs of anxiety or just before the fireworks begin, as directed by your veterinarian.

Sileo is a prescription medication and is not appropriate for every dog. If your pet has a history of noise anxiety, contact our hospital as soon as possible to discuss whether Sileo is the right option. Supplies can be limited around holidays, so don’t wait until the last minute!

In addition to medication, you can help your pet by:

🎵 Playing calming music or white noise
🦴 Offering favorite toys or treats
🚪 Making sure collars and ID tags are up to date in case they become frightened and escape
